Shri Golok Dham Ashram, Vrindavan

Shri Golok Dham (abode of the cows) Ashram is located at Goshala Nagar in Vrindavan. It is spaciously built on a land measuring about 2000 Sq. mtrs, with neatly laid out marble flooring. The ashram was inaugurated in 1992 in a blissful atmosphere. It houses a temple with a discourse hall where the grand central deity of Thakur Shri Golok Vihari Ji with Shri Radha as the consort is installed. Besides Shri Amarnidhi Hanumanji and Shri Sharneshwer Mahadevji alongwith Nandiji are also installed here.

Rev'd Sadhgurudev 'Dharamratna' Shri Shri 1008 Swami Shri Gopal Sharan Devacharya Ji Maharaj of the Nimbarka Sampradaya is the founder / peethadhishwer of Shri Golok Dham Ashram. The Ashram is guided by strict discipline and order under the able care of Mahatma Shyama Sharan Ji and eminent scholar like Pt. Hari Prasad Shastri Ji. Poojan, sankirtan, pravachan, sadhuseva, bhandara are followed ritually. 

The Ashram's rasoi (kitchen) serves food to all the inhabitants of the Ashram comprising of Sadhaks and Brahmacharis (students) who stay there and study scriptures within the framework of Guru-shishya parampara (tradition). Food mostly consists of aaloo (potato), rice, dal and chapatis and prasad (vaishnava ahara) is served at fixed timings; the perfect ingredient for 'high thinking and simple living'.

The complex has a homeopathy dispensary for the service of poor and sick free of cost. It also houses a goshala, a garden having trees like kadam and belpatra and various flowered plants. There are well-furnished rooms for the benefit of the Ashram's devotees complemented by excellent bathrooms.
